Gateways to Conservation II – Similar to Gateways to Conservation I for grades 1-5, This curriculum was created as a joint project of Pickering Creek Audubon Center and the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network designed to complement middle school science education. The curriculum gives background information, exciting hands-on learning adventures and more to help students and teachers explore the outdoors in conjunction with a nearby nature center, while gaining an understanding of their relationship to the Chesapeake Bay.
